Refund policy

Our heart is to provide the most excellent experience and cotton products, so please inspect your purchase upon delivery and notify us immediately of any defective goods or errors at hello@coveredincotton.com so that we can make it right.
  
Covered in Cotton will honor returns and exchanges within 30 days of the purchase date, but cannot accept used or laundered items. 

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  
To start a return or exchange, please email us at hello@coveredincotton.com with your name, order number and product information. Once your return or exchange is accepted, we will email you with instructions on the required next steps. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Final Sale and "seconds" quality items are not eligible for return or exchange.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards. We also cannot accept returns or exchanges on items damaged through normal wear and tear.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return item. If approved for a refund, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days of our receipt of the return. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@coveredincotton.com. 

Exchanges
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item. If approved for an exchange, we will email you details of the next steps needed in processing and shipping your exchange item. There may be additional charges and shipping fees needed in order to process your exchange.
